“We are not in the travel business. We’re in the business of dreams.” – GEOFFREY KENT

A journey in the Himalaya is far more than just an adventure travel—it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience. For more than 25 years we at Hi On Life Expeditions have been spinning dreams into transformative journeys for travelers who seeks more than just an adventure.

Whether you are uncovering the ancient mysteries of Tibet and Bhutan or pushing your limits on a climbing expedition in Nepal and Ladakh, you become a part of a story larger than yourself. You might find a profound inner stillness through yoga in the most sacred corners of the Himalaya, or forge unforgettable family bonds and memories on a trek with your children. These aren’t just trips; they are the moments that define a lifetime. By blending our professional expertise with a heartfelt commitment to the mountain and its people, Hi On Life Expeditions transforms your adventure into a deeply personal journey of the spirit.

Join our “Hi On Life” family to experience the soulful magic of the Himalaya through a journey that will stay with you forever.

Hi On Life Expeditions began with one simple idea: to go where others don’t.

Since 1999, we have been exploring the quieter corners of the Himalaya and sharing them with travelers who want something real and meaningful. We’ve helped open new routes, climbed peaks that had never been climbed before, and walked through valleys where even locals rarely go. From remote parts of east to west of  Himalaya, our journeys are shaped by curiosity, respect, and deep love for the mountains.

Our Legacy: The Hi On Life Impact

At Hi On Life Expeditions, we believe the greatest luxury is the ability to leave the world better than we found it. Our mission is twofold: to preserve the pristine majesty of the peaks and to invest in the enduring spirit of their people. By cleaning the trails we tread and educating the children of the valleys we love, we ensure that every journey with our family leaves a lasting legacy.

Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but memories

We are committed to respecting the delicate balance of nature and culture, creating positive connections with local communities, and ensuring every journey benefits everyone involved. We are among the few who lead clean-up expeditions, carrying back not only our own waste but also large amounts of trash left behind by other climbers. We then dispose of all collected waste responsibly, using designated sites and methods that respect and protect the natural environment.

Investing in Education, Changing Lives

In 2009, Hi On Life Expeditions began a school project in the remote village of Okhaldhunga, south of Mt. Everest, with the support of our generous partners. Together, we built a school that successfully operated for 10 years, providing education and hope to local children.

In 2026, we are embarking on a new chapter with our latest school project on the outskirts of Kathmandu. Our mission remains the same — to provide quality education to Nepalese children from underserved communities, helping them build a strong foundation to pursue their dreams.

Our new English-medium school, Grace International Academy, will serve children from families who have relocated from rural areas. To make education accessible and affordable for these low-income families, we are seeking funding to cover the school’s initial setup and annual operating costs.
